I graduated Mound Westonka High School in 2010 on the A Honor Roll. I am currently at Normandale Community College with the goal of Transferring to the U of M Twin Cities next fall with my Associates Degree. I am on the Dean's list and was invited to Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. I am still in school, because I have been attending classes part time and working. I also feel that it's important to take the time and try hard rather than rush an education.
Experience
I was in the Honor Roll in High School and I have made the Dean's list in college for three years in a row. I was also invited to the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at Normandale Community College. I have experience working at a daycare and as a nanny. I love kids and it shows when i'm teaching them. I love school and I plan to get a degree in education along with English Literature. I want to be a tutor, so that I have more experience to add to my resume. I just really love kids and I like to teach them new things. I have found over the years that they also teach me many things about life from patience to optimism.

Hobbies
I love reading and writing. Most of my time is taken up by those two things. I love to learn new things and I think I'll be very sad when school ends for me. I am great with children and I have rich past experience working with them. I have worked as a teacher's aid and as a nanny. I am also surrounded by teachers. My mom has been a daycare teacher for over 20 years and my sister is a supervisor on the Minneapolis School board to help new teachers become great teachers. I guess you could say that teaching runs in the family.
