My teaching strategy is to take the time to work at the individual student's pace. I have a personal goal to ensure the subject is interesting to the student and to assist the student in wanting to learn and develop their understanding of the subject. I don't rush the student to learn on my schedule because each student learns at their own pace. I am a lifelong learner in mathematics and enjoy sharing my knowledge with students. I have experience with preparing students to test out of math classes so that they could advance their mathematics studies quicker. I believe that math is interesting and even fun when taught in the right manner. My tutoring experience has been with students of any age and in the subjects of accounting, finance, photography, science, and software applications. I earned a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of North Dakota and a master's degree in Computer Science and Finance. I enjoy photography in my free time and even work part-time as a professional photographer. I also enjoy sailing when I am not studying, tutoring, or working.
